ABOUT ME

My name is Shane Williams. I'm a freelance Illustrator based in Malvern, in the west midlands.

   I probably got into art when I first looked into the 2000AD Judge Dredd comics that my uncle collected when he was a kid.
   As I got older my love for drawing and art took hold as I soon started  buying comics, If it was batman or Superman. 
  Two of my biggest art influences in the comic world are Todd Mcfarlane, for his detailed work on Spawn. And David Mack for his flawless work on Kabuki.

I mostly create my work with watercolour, using acrylic paints and pencils for highlights and little details.
  I can also do digital work using textures and drawings as a starting point, however water colouring is my prefered medium.

Besides doing Illustration I have done some photography in the past and have delved into sculpt customisation.
